Who is responsible
Beanie Survives is run by a private individual in Germany. Write to hello@beaniesurvives.com with any question about your data.
This website
This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics or advertising scripts, and has no forms or accounts. It loads no fonts or scripts from other companies.
The site is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc. When you open a page, Cloudflare processes your IP address, the page requested, the time, and your browser type in order to deliver the page and protect it from attacks. We do not combine this with any other data. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
If you write to us, we use your address and message only to answer you, and delete the conversation when it is no longer needed.
Links to other services
The site links to YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and our shop. Those services collect data under their own policies once you follow a link. The shop is run on Printify's Pop-Up Store; orders, payment, and delivery data are handled there under Printify's privacy policy.
Our apps for YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok
We run small private apps, "Beanie Survives Analytics" among them, that connect to the Beanie Survives accounts on YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok. They are used only by us, on our own accounts. Nobody else can sign in to them.
- What they read: the list of our own videos and their statistics, such as views, likes, comments, shares, saves, and average watch time. These are totals. The apps do not read who watched, liked, or commented.
- What they may post: our own videos and their titles and descriptions, to our own accounts, when we choose to publish.
- Where the data goes: the statistics are stored on our own computer to plan future videos. They are not sold, not shared with anyone, and not used for advertising. Access tokens are kept encrypted and are never shared.
- How long: statistics are kept while the channel runs. We delete them and revoke the apps' access when they are no longer needed.
Use of data received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. The YouTube features use YouTube API Services; the Google Privacy Policy applies to them. Access can be revoked at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you may ask for access to your data, its correction or deletion, restriction of its use, and a copy of it, and you may object to its use. You may also complain to a data protection authority. Write to the address above to use any of these rights.
